Hey! Belladonna's going mainstream!

I mean, she's not forsaking porn or anything (at least not from any gossip or news that I've heard), but get this, she recently landed a choice role in a "post-feminist horror" movie entitled Stripped that's set to film this fall. I'm not entirely sure what "post-feminist horror" means. I guess that it involves the idea of feminism ending and the horror involved with such a cultural transition. Either that, or it means that a bunch of chicks are going to murder a bunch of guys. Not entirely sure. But the story is said to revolve around a family of malevolent women who terrorize a couple of guys who get trapped in a spooky hose during a birthday outing. Belladonna (billed as Michelle Sinclair in the film) will take on the role of Ginger, a newcomer to the family of murderous ladies whose loyalties are "dangerously ambiguous".

Hmmm....if it was anybody else, I'd start cracking all kinds of wisecracks and comparing this scenario to Jenna Jameson's zombie stripper movie. But heck, as I'm sure I've mentioned many times in the past, everybody here at POPPORN loves the ever-loving fuck out of Belladonna, and I'm willing to give her the benefit of the doubt in this scenario. Besides, she's already proven her acting chops in our epic short film Ask Me a Dirty Question, which you should totally go and watch right now. In addition to our incredible short, she also appeared in James Gunn's "PG Porn" series, which totally rips off our site and is an absolute load of bullshit, Bella's appearance notwithstanding. Sorry, James Gunn, but fuck you and your PG crap-o-rama.

Anyway, Stripped is being produced by Jeffery Aldard (who was responsible for the 2003 Texas Chainsaw Massacre reboot, which none of us at POPPORN saw, and most likely never will) and will mark the directorial debut of John Wildman, who's directed...uh, nothing yet.

"We could not be more excited to have Michelle be a part of this project. She was someone that Justina and I had in mind as a 'dream choice' for this role from the moment we began thinking about casting. She has an innate openness and warmth that you can't help but be drawn to. It will be a thrill to introduce her to a whole new audience and re-introduce her to Belladonna's legion of loyal fans," Wildman said.

As for Belladonna, she couldn't be happier about landing the role. "Aiden and I are both fans of horror films and we thought the script was both exciting and twisted. We have been looking for the right mainstream project for me to do and after reading the script and hearing John and Justina's ideas, we knew that Stripped would be a perfect fit for me," she said, adding that her contract included an extensive, 75-page, "no-flirting" clause, hand written by Aiden, Belladonna's somewhat terrifying husband, who's been known to attack Spock BUCKTON occasionally.

Look for stripped, uh, sometime next year, probably. They haven't shot it yet. Be patient, dickheads! In the meantime, check out the 2004 gem My Ass Is Haunted for some righteous Belladonna horror-porn. It's a great movie. David Cross totally mentions it in his latest album! Wa-hoo!
