Well, I suppose all good things must come to an end. I suppose the same holds true for amazing things, groundbreaking things and magnificent things. Because, while POPPORN.com has been amazing, groundbreaking and magnificent in it's time (revolutionary and maverick, too), the writing's been splattered all over the wall: it's time to throw in the glove.

Why are we quitting, now, when we're clearly at the peak of human bloggotrocity, and perhaps of web journalism in general? That's easy. Because we're no longer respected. Watch the above video of our "good friends" from Wicked Pictures blowing us off for proof.

We always told ourselves, if we ever felt like we were losing our edge and weren't commanding the immediate respect and sycophance of our peers in any situation in which we found ourselves embedded, we would walk away gracefully, opting to go gently into that good night rather than raging against the dying of the light.

Well, perhaps not gracefully. At all. Heck, just watch the video.

Anyway, this will be the very last thing you read from POPPORN.com. It's true. We're moving on. We're getting out of porn. probably giving up comics, too. It's been a fun ride and we've seen the inside of lots of people's buttholes over the past two years, but enough is enough.

We'd like to thank everyone who read, appeared on, contributed to, betrayed, or picked a fight with POPPORN over the course of the past two and a half years.

We won't miss any of you.
