Dave Pounder says he wants to be to pornography what Dr. Drew is to addiction medicine. Pounder, the adult performer, director and producer, is working on a Ph. D at Indiana University. He hopes to reduce the amount of women entering the porn business on a cultural level by minimizing child sexual abuse and strengthening modern families. I'm sorry, WTF?
Pounder admits that it's somewhat hypocritical to work against the industry while also producing, directing and staring in porn, but says, "With most healthy pornography there's nothing wrong with it. But beating up girls, spitting on girls, that's different." Pounder states confidently that, "The girls [in these types of films] have been abused physically, sexually or emotionally. You have a brother or friend or father or mother who tells you you're ugly you're fat. I must [not] be a valuable worthy person. Women having sex with multiple partners they aren't connected to has a negative impact on a person's life. The mistake people make is women think men are like women and men think women are like men. Porn is like prison. Prison doesn't create criminals they just end up in prison. If you got rid of porn many girls would end up escorts or strippers."
Asked whether he's ever called sexist for his statements that while men are hardwired to want to fuck a lot of women there must be a developmental problem with women who do the same, Pounder says he's heard it before, but his studies have convinced him he's correct. Remember, he's going for his Ph.D!
Pounder has long drawn boundaries in his own work. He won't do anal as a performer and his Dave Pounder Productions won't put out any anal scenes. "I'm not into anal sex and it's not healthy. It's not the best thing for her [the female performer]," Pounder says. He's worried about "disease rates and damage to the sphincter muscle." (Cough *Pussy* Cough). "I don't personally like it. Even if I liked it I'm a picky performer. I'm picky about who I'm working with." Pounder says the worst thing about his job is that you "can't have a normal relationship." He's managed to avoild any serious cock injuries, but acknowledges it's a bummer to be "down for a week" if you get Chlamydia or gonorrhea. But the toll is much bigger emotionally than physically.
Pounder now directs for BangBros.com. He's also shown up in assorted mainstream programming, such as Jimmy Kimmel Live, and has been totally creepy on appearances on Blind Date, 5th Wheel and music videos for Engine Down and Fiona Apple, who sadly hasn't yet started her porn career. He hopes to slowly get out of the business and only write, lecture and teach people about the porn industry, no longer working in it.
See Dave do all the things he doesn't think girls should do, but that he is more than happy to do to them but only if it's clean and something he is comfortable doing...oh and something he thinks (via research) the girl is comfortable doing too...um, yeah, see all that here...

Similar to most hypocrites* like himself, his simpleminded message boils down to BLAME THE GIRL.
* Dave states, "Women having sex with multiple partners they aren't connected to has a negative impact on a person's life" (I assume he means the woman's life: I'm pretty sure her partners didn't have the proverbial gun put to their head). But then he later admits, the worst thing about his job is that you can't have a normal relationship... duh!?!
