Joanna Angel's ability to combine camp and comedy is unparalleled in the adult industry, and this time she pulls out all the stops.

With Bikini Babes Are Shark Bait, the star/director brings together her stable of tattooed punk princesses with some of the best comedic actors in the business to semi-spoof the bikini comedies a la Frankie and Annette.

As the new girl in town, Joanna gets an early warning about The Pink Pussies, one of the toughest bikini babe gangs ever. Led by Andy San Dimas, the gang lets Joanna know in no uncertain terms she is not welcome on their turf. That leads Joanna to hook up with rival gang member Tori Lux and turn in a really hot girl/girl romp by the pool, but not before Tori drops a "Japanese cock shark" into the pool as revenge for The Pink Pussies killing her sister a year earlier. Makes sense, right?

Despite Joanna's warnings, Wolf Hudson and Nikki Hearts are the first of many victims eaten by the shark, which involves some of the best practical effects we have seen in some time.

But one of the best scenes in terms of both acting and sex comes when aspiring Pink Pussies gang member Tommy Pistol has a sleepover with San Dimas and Arabelle Raphael. The threesome, again ignoring Joanna's warnings of the dangerous shark, proceeds to engage in Tommy's initiation into the gang by way of his going down on the girls and then fucking the hell out of them as they kiss and fondle one another.

Joanna Angel is really proving herself as one of the best directors in the industry, and her comedic efforts just get stronger and stronger with each original movie she makes. And when she and Tommy Pistol are allowed to run rampant on set, it's true gold.
