Late last week, Marvel announced that the new Fantastic Four would be released a day earlier than scheduled, due to the fact that the AP would be reporting on the death of one of the FF. Now I thought that meant us loyal readers would be able to sneak into the comic shops on Tuesday to find out which one of the four would bite it before the mass media spoiled it for the world. So Tuesday morning I woke up and jumped on Twitter to find many warnings from fellow comic fans to stay away from mainstream news. I knew what I had to do.
MEDIA BLACKOUT!

"It's your kids, Marty! You've got to do something about your kids."
I am a huge sucker for time travel. Back to the Future. Season five of Lost. Days of Future Past. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I love them all. And now I can add FANTASTIC FOUR #582 and AVENGERS #4 to that list. In one, the kids of the future are going back to save the adults of the present. The other, it's the grown-ups jumping forward to save their possible future children.

I don't know what happened, but I haven't been myself these past few months. I've been a caveman, a pirate, a pilgrim, and I may have joined a secret society led by Leonardo Da Vinci. But now I'm back. The Blackest Night is over. The Heroic Age is here. And comics are still my favorite form of entertainment (besides cuckolding porn).
